Who we are
anoli is run by Sift App Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16962848) (“we”). These terms are an agreement between you and us about using the anoli app for iPhone and iPad, the anoli browser extension, and this website. By using anoli you agree to them. You need to be at least 13 to use anoli.
What anoli does
anoli saves the links, posts, notes, photos and files you share into it and sorts them into folders. You can share a folder with other people, who can then add to it, comment and react.
anoli Pro
anoli Pro is a yearly subscription bought through the App Store. The price is shown in the app in your local currency before you confirm, and payment is taken from your Apple ID when you confirm.
The subscription renews automatically every year unless you turn off renewal at least 24 hours before the current year ends. You can do that at any time in Settings on your iPhone, under your name and then Subscriptions. The current year keeps running until it ends.
Refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store rules, at reportaproblem.apple.com. Nothing you saved is removed if you stop subscribing.
The free plan
You can save a number of things for free before anoli asks you to subscribe. That number may change over time. Nothing you already saved is removed when you reach it.
Your content
What you save belongs to you. You give us permission to store it, to fetch public details about links you save such as a title and thumbnail, to process it to sort and summarise it as described in our privacy policy, and to show it to the people you share a folder with. This permission ends when you delete it or your account.
Saving a link does not give you or us any rights in the content it points to, which belongs to its creator. Please only share folders in ways the original creators would be comfortable with.
Shared folders
When you share a folder, everyone in it can see its saves, comments and reactions, and anyone with the folder’s link can view it on the web until you stop sharing it. You are responsible for what you add to a shared folder.
Fair use
Do not use anoli to store or share anything illegal, anything you do not have the right to share, or anything that harasses, threatens or exploits other people. Do not try to break, overload or get around the limits of the service. We may remove content, or suspend or close accounts, that break these rules. If we do, we will tell you why where we can. In a shared folder you can report a comment or a save someone else added, and block another member, right in the app; we review every report within 24 hours.
Availability
We work hard to keep anoli running, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. It may occasionally close briefly for maintenance; your saves stay on your phone while it does. We may change or stop features over time. If we ever shut anoli down, we will tell you well in advance so you can export everything.
Our responsibility
Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under the law where you live, or our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Otherwise, we are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable, for loss of business or profit, or for content that other people add to folders you share. Please keep your own copy of anything important using Export everything in Settings.
Ending the agreement
You can stop using anoli at any time and delete your account from Settings. Cancelling Pro is done through Apple as described above.
Apple
These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for anoli or its content, and has no duty to provide support for it. Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to your use of the app. Apple and its subsidiaries are third party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them.
Changes
We may update these terms. When a change matters, the app will tell you before it takes effect. If you keep using anoli after that, the new terms apply.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK or in the EU, you keep the protection of your local consumer law and can bring a claim in your local courts.
